This is great! Thanks for sharing. I appreciate you teaching others how to eat organic on a budget. It is so important not only for out bodies but for our environment. I joined a CSA program over a year ago and love getting a box delivered to my door weekly with a surprise of fruits and veggies. I have come across my fair share of new ones that I had no idea what to do with but for the most part I have loved everything I have tried. If you are ever looking for ideas on how to use some of your produce, check out my weekly post on my CSA box filled with tips, tricks and recipes. http://inherchucks.com/whats-in-the-box/

I was so excited to see the recipe for Sweet Potato Dal, and even more excited to see that you'd featured the book Everyday Happy Herbivore. My first thought, after seeing the subtitle and cover, was "Oh! I really need this book!" I've been a vegetarian for years, but have been wanting to learn to prepare vegan fare. My new husband has recently adopted and is adjusting nicely to my diet; he's vowed to focus on better health, which includes some weight loss, so the fat-free recipes are very welcome. We both work full-time running small businesses and have a small hobby farm, so the "on the table in 30 minutes or less" is delicious icing on the (vegan) cake! Thank you so much for posting this; I'd be thrilled to win a copy of this book!

My daughter would love these books! I also believe that by eating healthier, your food budget drops significantly. Bad food is not filling and only makes a person hungry for more bad food. Healthy food (and there are always some great deals out there) satisfies my appetite while energizing me.

Thank you for the quick burgers recipe!
